St.Dominic Vettucaud is a coastal village under the Jurisdiction of Latin catholic archdiocese of Trivandrum, which belongs to Puthucurichy Forne. The parish is situated 18 Km away on North from Trivandrum Central Railway station & 13 Km away from Trivandrum International Airport. The Arabian sea lies west of this village and township of Kazhakuttom. The neighbouring parishes are St.Andrews on north side and Thumba on the other side.

St.Francis Xavier visited these coastal places later of the 16th century, preaching Christianity among the people,thus becoming the followers of Christianity. The village covers about 3 km, total population of St.Dominic is 1250 consisting of 250 families. Parish is divided into 11 BCC units, for the development and progress of the parish, where people can put forward innovative ideas for the development of their parish.
